The strength of our turf teams was evident, with our Division 4 team being narrowly defeated in the Grand Final, and our Division 1 team made it through to the semi-finals in 2008. 

In 2009, our Division 1 team boasts a very impressive line-up, with more than half of the team currently named in Queensland and/or Australian teams. 

For the first time Valleys is also fielding a Masters team, competing in Monday Masters Division 3. 

COACHING TEAM:

Valleys 1 (Division 1) - Stephen Deering

Valleys 2 (Division 2) - John Pembroke

Valleys 3 (Division 4) - Lynn Quirk

Valleys 7 (Monday Masters 3) - Helen Sharp

TRAINING:

Our senior turf teams train twice a week: one fitness training session and one skills/team training session. Fitness training is conducted at either Burringbar Park, Chermside. Skills / Team training is undertaken at Burringbar Park, Chermside.

Our Masters team does not have a designated training night, however Masters players are invited to attend Senior Fitness on a Wednesday night, and are welcome to attend Senior Grass training on Wednesday, from 6.30 - 7.30pm at Shaw Park, Wooloowin. 

FIXTURES:

Fixtures are held at Burringbar Park, Chermside, the State Hockey Centre, Colmslie and the Redcliffe Turf fields.

Fixtures for Divisions 1 and 2 are held on a Saturday. Fixtures for Division 3, 4 and 5 are held on Sunday.
